All email correspondence will remain private unless you specifically agree in writing that it should be posted. We do like to share our customer's feedback by publicly posting (publishing) your comments, but we always ask for and receive the writer's permission before posting  correspondence with any identifying information on our website.

Sales Tax Policy

We are required to collect sales tax in New Mexico. Your shopping cart will calculate the appropriate tax based on your total order.

Return information for Orders placed online or over the Phone

Your satisfaction is guaranteed, so if for any reason you are not satisfied with a product purchased from us, return the unused portion within 15 days of delivery for a full refund.

If we erroneously shipped you the wrong product and you wish to return it, we will refund you for the product and shipping cost.

Please call before mailing any return - returns that are not called in may result in lost packages and delays in refund processing.

Refunds may take up to 3 weeks to process once we receive the return package. Please note that all refunds will be processed to the same credit/debit card that the original order was placed. If the original debit/credit card is no longer active, the refund will be made by check.

Refunds for orders that were paid for by check will be issued by check. Check refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

Changing or Canceling you Order

If, after you place your order, you need to make a change to your order or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation or changes in orders, but will make every effort to accommodate you.

Important: If paying by Credit/Debit card, your account will not be charged until the day that your order is shipped. Look for "TIERRA MADRE CANDY COMPANY" on your credit/debit card statement.

If your credit/debit account declines when we attempt to process your order, or we have the incorrect billing address on file, we will contact you to update your billing address. If we can not get in contact with you within two weeks, we will cancel you order.

Orders typically take 3-6 business days before being shipped. Please be aware this does not include shipping (transit) time.

Addresses

Before you complete your order online, please double check that you entered your shipping address correctly. Incorrect shipping addresses can result in delays or lost packages.

Shipping Charge Calculations

USPS shipping charges are based on weight and the distance between our zip code and yours. The cost of shipping is shown during the checkout process. 

Shipping Price: The prices that you see while checking out are the direct cost that we incur. We strive to reduce these costs whenever possible and believe in transparency in pricing, so we do not tack on handling or processing fees.
